About Me
I am a depth psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with more than thirty years of clinical experience. I work with individuals navigating life transitions, spiritual emergence, trauma, and questions of meaning.
My approach blends psychological depth with contemplative wisdom and a steady, grounded presence. I work relationally and reflectively, with careful attention to pacing, emotional stability, identity, and lived experience over time.
My work is shaped by Jungian and transpersonal psychology, decades of attentive listening, and sustained contemplative practice. I understand what it is to move through thresholds—to live between identities, to sit with uncertainty, and to seek a deeper truth beneath the noise of daily life. I meet people in these in-between spaces with groundedness, curiosity, and care.
My Journey as a Therapist
I began my therapeutic and vocational life through psychology and the contemplative life. Over the years, my work has included:
Extensive experience in community mental health and crisis settings
Training in trauma-informed, depth-oriented psychotherapy
Service as a former DBT Team Lead and DBT specialist
Accompanying individuals through significant psychological, existential, and spiritual life transitions
Supporting people navigating spiritual emergence and awakening experiences
My clinical background is complemented by long-term contemplative formation and spiritual study. These influences shape how I listen and how I work, while remaining grounded in psychological care rather than interpretation or spiritual direction.
Training and Formation
My professional and contemplative formation includes:
Extensive training in trauma therapy and depth psychology
Current participant in the Franciscan Spiritual Direction Training Program
Interspiritual formation across Buddhist, Christian contemplative, Hindu, and Pagan lineages
Specialized training in spiritual emergence and awakening
More than thirty years of clinical experience
What Guides My Work
At the heart of my work is a simple commitment: presence, kindness, depth, and a quiet confidence that healing unfolds when we make space for the truth to speak.
